The “Nuova 500” was produced by Fiat from 1957 to 1975. A true icon on
four wheels is one of the symbols of made in Italy and its unique and recognizable design is famous all over the world. Alongside the traditional version which has seen an incredible commercial success on the roads all over the world, the Italian car manufacturer Abarth created numerous special versions characterized by an unmistakable sporting connotation. In 1964 Abarth, originally born as a sports stable, presented two interesting elaborate versions on the mechanics and chassis of the Fiat Nuova 500: the 695 and the 695 SS. Both versions had a total displacement of 689 cm3 and reached, in the Super sport configuration, a maximum speed of 140 km / h. In 1965 the Fiat 695 SS Assetto Corsa was built with improved performance and equipment.
